A backflow device is designed to eliminate contaminated water siphoning into the system should the water supply main break and create a siphonic action.
These devices are tested yearly and test results are to be recorded and forwarded to authorities.
The "backflowapp.com" allows the tester to record the test results, customer details, site location, and device specifications on the App and is easily recalled for viewing or forwarding via email to other parties.
The App further sends reminders annually to the user of impending tests and for the recalibration of the test gauge used for the testing of the device.
The App alerts the user if incorrect pressures are entered which would otherwise fail the test therefore assisting the user if an incorrect value is inserted.
The App has drop down features to assist the user with speed and accuracy, where a new test is to be performed on a previously entered/tested device, the template has all of the
pre-loaded information apart from the current date, test values and current gauge certification date.
